ABOUT BIG TINY

Founded in March 2017, Big Tiny is the first company in Singapore to integrate the concept of “tiny houses” with eco-tourism. These compact homes are part of a global movement to simplify living spaces, reducing resource use without compromising quality of life. Big Tiny enhances this concept by placing beautifully designed homes on wheels in stunning rural settings, offering a unique blend of efficiency and a close connection with nature.

Conceived by three Singaporean entrepreneurs, Big Tiny aims to provide urban dwellers a retreat from busy digital lives and invites people worldwide to embrace this lifestyle. Since its inception, Big Tiny has expanded to 209 tiny houses across eight countries, including Australia, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Taiwan, and now Singapore.

ABOUT TINY AWAY

In 2017, Adrian, a young entrepreneur, found inspiration while vacationing along the scenic Great Ocean Road. He admired the coastal beauty and recognized the need for city dwellers, like himself, to escape their busy digital lives.

Teaming up with friends Dave and Jeff, they launched Tiny Away to provide urbanites with a sanctuary in nature, born out of a desire to provide city dwellers a getaway to unwind and reconnect with nature.

The tiny house movement started in America and became an international trend. It is an architectural and social philosophy that advocates living simply in small, affordable, and eco-friendly homes. To live in a smaller space, one would have to downsize and simplify their life by reducing the amount of material possessions they have. As such, tiny houses help to reduce resource consumption and are a cost-effective and sustainable way of living.

Riding on the international trend in tiny houses, we have taken the tiny house movement one step further by partnering with land hosts and placing our beautifully designed and handcrafted homes on wheels in spectacular rural settings, surrounded by nature.

We believe that all good things should be shared. To share this with everyone, we have integrated the concept of tiny houses with eco-tourism. Our tiny houses are designed to be eco-friendly and are built with sustainable materials. By putting our tiny houses on booking platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com, we have made it possible for anyone to book a stay in a tiny house. This gives people, especially those stressed-out city folks, a chance to experience the tiny house lifestyle in Nature;
